Bouteille 33cl, anno 2017, batch 1721, BB 09/2025. Pas certain que cette brasserie soit encore en activité.
Couleur brune foncée, noire, doré au verre, col crémeux café au lait.
Arôme dès ouverture donne de belles effluves de poudre de cacao, chocolat noir avec un malté généreux.
Palais est épais, profondeur marquée de chocolat, toffee, fèves de cacao, finement collant aux lèvres, retrouve un effet un peu chokotoff avec une fine amertume en fin de bouche. Très correcte, et même avec l'age, se tient très bien.

On tap at La Rovira. Pours orange brown. Passionfruit, sweet, bit synthetic, white chocolate, mango, papaya, sweet finish. Medium body. Not great.

Bouteille 33cl de BeerStore Barcelona. BB 07/2018, lot#1727, under Barcelona Brewing Co., seems contract brewed. Orangée, col blanc épais. Arôme est fruité, mandarine, notes vertes avec un léger ajout malté restant assez discret conférant des effluves pâles et léger cara. Palais est malté, fin caramel, pâle, fruité moyen, tropical et agrumes. Ici aussi, une effervescence assez haute, note de groseille verte, fini un peu poivré.

Cask at Ale&Hop, RBESG 2016. Hazy orange with an off white head. Aroma of fruity hops, light citrus and light orange. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Light to light medium bodied with soft carbonation. [08-07-2016]

RBESG 2016 in Barcelona. Shared bottle at Ale&Hop, 2015 Edition, ABV 11%. Black colour. Sweetish aroma of vanilla and molasses. Sweet flavour, vanilla, chocolate and molasses.

Bottle shared with the RBESG guys on 8th July 2016 at Ale & Hop, Barcelona. This lovely chocolate flavoured Imp Stout did for me: I may well have carried on and visited two more bars with the guys but I was out of it after this beauty. Black with a beige crown. Huge vanilla and chocolate aroma with some dark fruits and red wine like esters in the nose also. The taste was similar to the aroma, chocolate and vanilla leading the malty flavouring with some dark berries and wine hints calming the sweetness down nicely. Very easy to drink (our bottle claimed 11% ABV I think). Leave me in the corner next time I have this please.

Cask in Ale & Hop, Barcelona: shared with the RBESG guys on 8th July 2016. Golden amber golden pour with a full white head. Floral aroma with a mild herbal trace, very little coming from the Citra hops, at least not citrusy aromas or flavours. Overall a bit bland and uninteresting. Nice to try a cask ale though.

Bottle at Ale&Hop, RBESG 2016. Near black with a small tan head. Aroma of fudge, milk chocolate, cocoa, and roast. Flavour is heavy sweet and light bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation. [08-07-2016]
