Pours murky mahogany into a Trappist glass. White head with little retention recedes to skim surface. Dusty chocolate covered pit fruit aromas. Thick with dark caramel, cloying treacle and sour overripe pit fruit. nope.

Pours slightly hazed gold into a tulip. Bright white head with excellent retention top hats and recedes leaving trailing sheets. Lemon, band-aid and funk aromas. Crisp with sour band-aid and rotting leaves upfront turning to bitter funky pith in the lasting finish. Improves slightly as it warms.

Can pour into pub glass from One Stop Market. Appearance is hazy dark yellow/light brown with nice sparkle, two-finger width foamy head with decent retention and fair, soapy lacing. Aroma is overripe fruit tartness, citrus, lighter tropical fruit, malt backbone. Taste is dominant lightly tart overripe fruit/fruity esters, late mild citrus and tropical fruit. Palate is light bodied with thin, smooth texture, soft carbonation and dry, mix of tart fruit and sweet citrus/tropical fruit finish. Overall, a mixture between a farmhouse ale and an IPA--which seems to be right up the brewer's alley.

16 oz. can purchased at CBC, Amesbury location. The canning date is 10-30-17 with "Space Cowboy" stamped next to it. Subdued yellow color with plenty of carbonation. Aroma is decent; fruity yeast character and mild floral tones.

The yeast has a nice presence with some lingering floral bouquet toward the finish. Lighter body with nice effervescent mouthfeel. Good attenuation. Shows good balance.
