Description
Munkebo Brewery was founded in late 2013 when our brew master returned to Denmark after working in a Brewery, in the German mountains. We brew our beer at different breweries, but mainly in Denmark with colab’s various places at other breweries at home and abroad. Munkebo moved in 2019 from the old base at Kerteminde to the harbor in Odense, in an old warehouse from the 17th century.

330ml bottle, trade with Skinnyviking. Shared back home with Finn and djoeye. A coal black body with a deep ruby shade. Remaining fawn-coloured head leaving spotty lacing on the glass. Dark bread on the nose with hints of chocolate. Mixed taste of bread, biscuit and berry skins followed by a roasted ending with liquorice notes. Fine depth. A nice, well-made stout. (Tromsø 16.08.2018).
