Description
Munkebo Brewery was founded in late 2013 when our brew master returned to Denmark after working in a Brewery, in the German mountains. We brew our beer at different breweries, but mainly in Denmark with colab’s various places at other breweries at home and abroad. Munkebo moved in 2019 from the old base at Kerteminde to the harbor in Odense, in an old warehouse from the 17th century.

33cl bottle from a trade with fonefan, thanks. A black beer with tan head. Aroma of dark roasted malt, coffee, caramel, burned malt. Taste of sweet and roasted dark malt, caramel, coffee, liquorice, slightly boozy.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden and slightly hazy. Aroma and taste are yeast, fruits, flowers, little caramel and has a sweet yeasty finish.

On tap at Munkebo. Golden with a lasting white head. Grainy malt aroma with herbal hops. Sweet malty flavour with herbal hops. Decent pilsner

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, coffee, little caramel, hops and has a nice roasty finish.

Bottle. Pours clear yellow with a small white head. Aroma is malty, yeasty, smoky, burned rubber-like notes, weird earthy notes. Taste is yeasty, rubbery, fruity, smoky, pale malty. Weeeeeirrrrdddd.

Bottle. Pours black with a medium brown head. Aroma has coconut, sweet malty notes, caramel, dark fruits, chocolate. Taste is more roasty, malty, chocolate, dry, slightly bitter.
