Taster at the Ocean Beach location. Pours black, with a thin, tan ring. The nose is milk chocolate, mild coffee, toasted coconut, and sherry. Very sweet and boozy, with a hint of bitterness. Heavy body, with a syrupy, chalky palate. This is a quality stout.

Can, 7.2%. Clear golden amber with a white head. Aroma of grapefruit, orange, light biscuit. Light bodied. Pretty faint biscuit, loads of citrus, some pine and herbal notes coming through at the firmly bitter finish which is pleasingly dry. It's tasty but rather straightforward for its strength. Finish is just my sort of thing.

Tap at Craftheads event. Aroma is great, berries, spice and bit of chocolate! Taste is good too, prickly but not overly hoppy or spicy. Lots of malt, fruit again, hint of booze, strawberry jam. Nice stuff.

Tap at Craftheads event. The one I was looking forward to. Aroma is good. Initially cheesy then moves towards brett and citrus. Taste is a little disappointing but still very nice. Bit of wood, touch of cardboard too though. Sourness is subdued, bit creamy. Nice but somehow not quite as exciting as I hoped.

Draft at Craftheads. Achel bruin like, bit fruity, plums and raisins, doughy. Quite interesting. Touch of sourness, oud bruin style, cherry maybe. Almond at the end. Good stuff

Tap, Ocean Beach. Pitch black, smaller beige ehad. Mildly roasty, some chocolate and vanilla, a bit of bourbon. Thick and silky, very full body. Mild chocolate sweetness, slight bitterness, and a tad of roast. Slight alcohol presence.
