Can pour into whisky glass from Valley Beverage. Appearance is opaque black with nice sparkle at the edges of the glass, ephemeral thin cap of light brown head with no lacing. Aroma is rich roasted coffee, cinnamon. Taste is strong roasted coffee and cinnamon, late roasted malt. Palate is medium bodied with smooth, thick texture, average-to-lively carbonation and dry finish as taste. Overall, the adjunct flavors are so strong that the base beer is all but lost. Fortunately, those flavors are delicious but you wouldn't necessarily know you were drinking beer. Slightly overcarbonated.

10oz goblet at the Ocean Beach location, pours a murky black with some ringing beige head. Nose has a lot of booze, dark fruits, cherries, raisin, some smoke, molasses, licorice, cheap whiskey. Flavor has more booze, Jamey is right there now with some fake caramel, chewy licorice and malt, some chocolate covered espresso bean. Finishes full bodied, thick and boozy. 7 4 7 3 13

16oz at Ocean Beach pours a very murky gold with some sticky, lacing white head. Nose has a ton of fruit off the top, lots of pineapple and melon and vanilla, some mango, perfume, flowers. Flavor is very sweet, lots of melon and vanilla and mango cream. Not much bitterness. Sweet and creamy on the finish. 7 4 6 3 12

Can picked up from Beer Gonzo (I think) and consumed at home Thursday 13th December 2018 whilst still slaving over my CV Grrrrrr..... . Not sure what the name Bacon and eggs is referring to? unless I am missing something obvious (haven't read the can to be fair) This pours black with a light tan head. Drinks surprisingly easy for an 8% beer. Smooth but roasty, lots of coffee, light bitternes, really enjoyed this. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 4.0

Taste starts with medium sweet roasted malt and coffee, following is umami, woody and alcoholic, mouthfeel is smooth and warm, while finish is medium grassy bitter. Full body, thick creamy texture and carbonation in palate. Caffeine on bacon...

Tap at Cap Tap. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Earthy coffee aroma. Med body or better. Flavor is earthy, chocolately malt- not getting much coffee - but there clearly is some. Something like a standoff between coffee and chocolate. Quite dry. Moderately bitter. Quite tasty.
