33cl bottle. A clear golden beer with a huge good lasting white head. Aroma of mild spices, pale malt, yellow fruits, wheat. Taste of yeasty yellow fruits, wheat, some spices.

Huge, very dense & fine yellowish head, leaving lacerings over mossy-orange beer featuring UFO's. Oppressive insectoid nose, weeds, herbs with a befuddled mix. Again weeds and herbs, again really not working together. Slight acidity, herbal bitterish hints at sweet malts and wheat underneath. Finish gets a bit calmer, sweeter. Wheatslick, bit viscous, good carbonation, medium bodied at best. Ouff, honour is saved. The beer is as dreary as the irksome, earsore hit it is named after.

Draft @ Slot Oostende, Goes. Pours misty amber, off-white head. Aroma presents some resinous pint. Taste is seemingly more in an old-school vein, some resin, pine, chewy malt with a nice bitter edge. Not bad.

Thnx for sharing! Pours copper brown. No real head. Smell is tad sweet. Earthy. Taste is sharp. Tad bitter. Spice. Very plastic. Fermented way to warm, very off.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Wijnzinnig, Gendt. Hazy dark amber with a minimal white head. Caramel aroma with some faint hops and some peach. Sweet taste. Not a bad beer as such but certainly not an IPA as it doesn't have the typical hopforwardness nor the bitterness of a true IPA.

33cl Bottle from Deen. Hazy golden yellow colour, white head. Aroma of some wheat, hint of lemon, all very faint. Flavour is light sweet, wheat, lemon, just light spicy. Light bodied. Weak, uninspiring, boring ‘Weizen’.

Very dark brown with thin head. Aroma and flavour have some slightly caramelised malts. Not particularly intense or bitter but well balanced.

Medium, fairly dense cream-beige head, pitting in over hazy nut-brown beer. Sweet-roasted nose. Bit of dried fruit and indeed sweet alcohol - though I would have guessed rum rather than jenever or brandy. Wood, liquorice, cardboard. Though a lot of sweet components are traceable (the raisins, the melanoidin-rich malt), the spirit lends a dryness to the beer that fortifies the woody traits. Sweet chocolate, liquorice, figs, raisins. The vanilla remains hidden. Feels better carbonated than it looks. Medium bodied at best, bit gristslick. In the end, not half bad. I could live with this, if not too long. "Porter" fits a bit awkward on the flavourprofile, but these days.. "Black" taste?? Somebody loves Magritte in Goes. 6/4/7/3/14
