33cl Bottle from Deen IJburg. Brown colour, beige head. So far for Pale. Aroma of burnt caramel, some hops, tea leaves, yeast. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, caramel, hint of tobacco, yeast, light hoppy, decent bitterness. Light to medium bodied. OK beer but more an amber ale at best.

Bottle from Euro Secret Santa. Thanks Benzai. Pours brown, the head only holds shortly before fizzing away. Aroma is caramel, vanilla, chocolate, new plastic. Taste is sweet with an odd mix of flavors: Zuckerrüben, sweet corn, vanilla, hints of sarsaparilla. Body stays fairly light for the style. Interesting but does not quite come together.

33cl Bottle from Deen IJburg. Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma is light grainy, light fruity, light floral. Flavour follows, very bland, decent bitterness though. Light bodied.

Bottle @ Slot Oostende. Amber colour, white foam. Malty, light citrussy, some peach in nose. Taste is light bitter, sweet hints. Not really an IPA.

Bottle @ Slot Oostende. Clear orange beer, white foam. Citrussy, notes of orange peel, some spices. Easy drinkable. Decent blond ale.

Bottle @ home. Hazy to murky dark amber to brown colour with a medium sized offwhite head. Hardly has any smell. Tastes watercolour (aquarel paint), slightly weird, hint of cookies. Also getting some soapyness. Doesn’t taste horrible but this is not at all an IPA. No hops, hardly any bitterness, quite yeasty. If this is someone’s first IPA it might put them off from the style and that would be a shame. Also the best before date seems to be sept 2019, which is total bullshit if it really was a hop forward beer. Nice body and carbo.

Zwart bier zonder schuim. Smaak is krachtig, warm en zoet met iets van chokolade, vanille en koffie. Erg goed bier, blijft hang hangen, is helaas iets te waterig in de mond anders was de score zeker hoger geweest.

Donkergeel bier zonder schuim. Smaak is licht bitter en licht zoet met iets van ananas en kardemon. Matige tripel wat mij betreft.

Bottle at home shared thanks to Maakun. Unclear dark amber with white head. Sweet malts, caramel, light spicy yeast and hops, bit like eucalyptus, plastic, vegetal. Quite sweet and moderate bitter. Medium body, very soft malty feel. Soft carbonation.

Bottle shared thanks to Secret Sinterklaas. Hazy light moer with beige head. Sweet caramel and malts, light biscuits, soft peach and lime, apple, light grapefruit. Medium sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with carbonation a bit on the fizzy side. OK.
