Bottle from Drankenspeciaalzaak Jelle, Leeuwarden. Aroma is malty and yeasty with caramel, ripe and candied fruits, bit sugary, ripe apples, soapy notes, and notes of apricot. Flavour is sweet and sugary. Body is medium. Too sugary and candied, soapy, unrefined. Not a good Tripel.

Bottle 0,33: Hazy amber colored brew with an medium dry bitter taste, hints of citrus and mainly a lot of caramel (mars bar-like).

A: clear golden, stable, foamy, white head.
A: pineapple, pear, jenever, honey, bread dough, clove.
T: sweet pineapple, pear, spicy phenols, honey.
F: floral hops, ripe yellow fruits, phenolic, bitter yeast, boozy jenever-like alcohol.
P: medium body, oily texture, average carbonation.
Bit too boozy. Otherwise okay.

Flesje meegebracht van vakantie en gedeeld met Tomhendriksen. Amberkleurig troebel bier met matig schuim dat snel weg trekt. Aroma is fruitig. Smaak is hoppig, moutig en kruidig. Nasmaak is iets bitter.

0.15 l on tap at the brewery. A little hazy, reddish amber with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly fruity, a little herbal aroma of caramel, dark honey, some licorice root and raisins. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly fruity and a little herbal taste of caramel, dark honey, raisins, licorice root and some raisins, followed by a short, moderately bitter, hardly roasty finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not really what you could expect from a Porter, other than that okay.
