Bottle. An almost clear one, dark reddish golden in color and with a dense, finger-thick beige head. The aroma is a bit weak for a beer this heavy, with licorice, booze and roasted malts. Some dark chocolate and coffee. Semi-sweet on the palate, with a little warmth and a decent carbonation. Coffee, roasted malts, pine cones and booze and some bitterness in the flavor. Lasting finish. A tad boring this one, but far from bad. 150808

Pours dark brown with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel and coffee. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long roasted, chocolate, caramel and coffee finish. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Hema, Culemborg. Hazy light brown with an off-white head. Caramel aroma with some malts and red fruits. Taste is sweet. Nice full bodied dubbel.

Murky gold - amber beer, decent cream colour head. Airy palate, semi dry, fine carbonation, typically Dutch slightly over carbonated. Caramel malts and a little dry seltzer. Hops?Where are the hops? Airy dry finish. Frothy and dull.

Bottle 330ml. [ As De Naeckte Brouwers Noorderlicht ].Gusher !!! Clear medium amber color with a huge, speaking, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel - pale malt - wheat, leather notes. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet caramel - yeast, leather notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150619]

33 cl. bottle @ home, gift from Hilde but bought @ Hema, Culemborg. Hazy deep yellow with a white head. Yeasty spicy aroma. Taste is semi-bitter. Not as dry a finish as most saisons but still a nice summer beer.

33cl bottle, pre Tuska tasting. Brownish, hazy with a thin off white head. Quite bready, raisins, plummy, yeasty aroma. Flavor has sweetness, raisins, bready malt. Abv nicely hidden. Ok.

Bottled@fonefan. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is toffee, some fruits, mild yeast and spices. Flavour is very much similar. Kind of sweetish spiced, but still mellowly wooden aftertaste. Gusher warning.

A total gusher. Aroma has some butter and toffee. Also mild malty tones. Flavour has some menthol-like hops, toffee and butter. Ok stuff but nothing much.
