Description

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 23 Aug 2014) Hazy amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of apricots, dried fruit and orange. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, apricots, dried fruit, hints of spicy yeast and a balanced bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and refreshing. Quite nice,

Bottle sample at a tasting at Ariel’s place. Thanks Vova & Stas. 8%. Dark amber-brown with a small beige head. Aroma of roast, coffee, some smokiness, yeast and a bit of fruitiness. Sweetish roasty flavor with licorice, yeast, some fruitiness, a bit of coffee, light smokiness and light bitterness. Medium-bodied, a bit light. Feels kinda amateurish.

Bottle 330ml (AIH40)
Murky orange color, small white head. Very grainy, herbal, a bit alcoholic aroma. Medium-bodied. Grainy, a bit wheaty and sweetish flavor. Certainly quite typical organic, "old grain type" vibe here. Decent experiment.
