Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, sweet hops, orange - citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, hoppy, yeasty, sweet fruit, mango. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140118]

Bottle @ Aarhus tasting. Almost black with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malt and chocolate. Flavor is quite sweet and rather bitter. Dry and roasted moderate bitter finish. 280314

Bottle @ benzai shared by joes. Hazy orange colour with no head. Looks pretty dead and depressing. Smells urine, moldy. Tastes very sweet, malts. Way too sweet. Medium body, almost no carbo.

330ml bottle [as Hocus Hoppus]. Nearly clear, amber colour with average to huge, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Cautious, floral and minimally fruity hop aroma. Taste is moderately bitter hoppy, minimally fruity, minimally soapy, subtle sweetness, hints of gooseberry, other berries and their parings. Not my taste.

(Draught at Café Briljant, Haarlem, 27 Feb 2014) Black colour with dense, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, chocolate and dark bread. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, a touch of tobacco and a fairly dry finish with a fresh coffee bitterness. Almost full body, with smooth and rounded mouthfeel. Quite dry. Tasty and well balanced. Very nice.
