The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: pours golden with a white head. Aroma is pine and lemon... Kind of like pine-sol. Nice amount of bitterness. Some light lemony thing going on. Ample levels of complexity. Pretty nice.

Draught @ Malt & Mold. Hazy dark orange with medium sized off-white foamy head, floral hops and mango aroma, sweetish hoppy taste, long sweet finish. Flavorful and suitably bitter.

Draught @ Albion. Clear rich yellow with small frothy white head, faint malt aroma, medium carbonation, lightly hoppy taste, abrupt finish. Not bad for a lager.

Draft at Fool's Gold, 12/5/15. As Threes Anachoic, but I assume it's the same beer. Pours a murky golden color. White head and good lace. Nice, clean pine and resin style hops. Some citrus fruit as well. Light sweet with a medium-plus bitterness. Clean and easy drinking with average carbonation and a dry finish. Quite drinkable with a nice, hoppy flavor and feel.

32oz growler from the brewery pours a hazy orange with some frothy white head. Nose was juicy at first but add a bit to classic IPA aromas, orange juice a little mango, some pine, some soap. Flavor has a lick of mango sweetness, then a little guava too, then orange and pine, some herbs, a little tangerine. Slick finish, very drinkable.

Sample at Proletariat. Hazy orange-gold color with a medium off-white head that dissipates steadily to a film. Strings of lacing. Aroma of herbal hops, yeast and malt. Light-bodied with a grassy hops character and notes of yeast and doughy malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a grassy hop aftertaste. Above average overall.

64oz growler from the brewery pours a clear gold with some frothy white head. Nose is solid, vinous and grassy, lemon curd, tangerine, soap, light herbs, guava, mild candy. Flavor is even better, great balance of fruit/candy sweetness and real approachable hop, guava, mango, orange. Crisp finish.

25cl pour at Threes pours a murky black with some cloudy, off white head. Nose is mostly just regular black duck, toast, malt, molasses, some brown sugar, a little raisin/dried cherry lurking in the background. Flavor follows right along, chewy grains, sweet brown sugar, a little stale coffee, some raisin, just a splash of red wine vinegar, some soured cola, cherry. Dry finish, very drinkable. Not sure how much of the brett comes through, but the base beer is always nice and if this adds a little cherry character (Brett C anyone?) then so be it.
