Quick $9 pint at the Mad Donkey while contemplating somewhere better. This place had a bit of a poo smell. Classic hazy, pale yellow gold, extra frothy. White onion, dried tropical fruit, dank nose. Dusty bittersweet orange, sour pineapple, heavy onion tail, high acid, turbid, lingering resin. Good. Would have been great except that the next stop was worse & left me in a bad mood.

Can (5/22/24) pour shared by Steve. Hazy, golden yellow, no sparkle, thin head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is watermelon, orange. Taste is sweet candy, milder grape, background grain. Smooth texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Hops have likely faded with age, but my nose is a bit congested so that is coloring things as well. Decent.

Draught @ The Hoptimist, Manhattan (Sept 2024). Clear light amber with a foamy off-white head, malt-grassy hops aroma, high carbonation, medium bitter mildly caramelized malt taste, grassy hops, thin body, long finish. Quite a generic beer but it's at least clean.
