Can from Happy Shopper, Salford. Very pale yellow with some apple flavour evident, but not too flavoursome with its apple. It is what it tastes like - mass produced strong cider.

500ml bottle from Ken Warne, Darlington. Orangey pink colour, big white foam head that dissipates away and aroma of rhubarb, toffee. Taste is sweet, rhubarb, toffee apple, with some tartness and residual sugary notes. Medium bodied, high carbonation, medium-sweet rhubarby finish. Quite OK

Clear dark yellow colour with thin soapy head. It's a simple and pleasant cider. Not overly sweet. Ok but misses some complexity and character.

Can from ASDA Supermarket, Manchester. Clear red colour. Fairly standard red berry fruit cider - very macro in design.

500ml bottle from Low and No Drinks. Sparkling, clear bright golden colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates and aroma of fruits, apple, berry-like hint. Taste is sweetish, apple, fruity, drying, slightly tangy and faint hint of tannin. Watery, thin bodied, high carbonation, very short drying finish. Quite OK, not bad considering its low alcohol.

Can from Home Bargains, Salford. Golden coloured with a small glow. Not to flavoursome, it's strength probably plays a part in this, although it's not particularly alcohol flavoured either, with this producing a mild toffee-esque finish at first before the apple is apparent.
