Bottle thanks to hauxe. Pours very dark brown with a creamy beige head. Malty aroma, stone fruit, caramel. Taste is malty, some stone fruit, a bit vinous, caramel, sweet. Really not an altbier at all. But pretty damn good, nevertheless.

Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Brown colour. Moderate malty herbal aroma. Light hoppy. Moderate bitter light sweet flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate.

Tap @ Mikkeller, Aarhus. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, toasted malt, hops, grassy hops and has a light bitter finish.

Tap @ Mikkeller Aarhus. Clear dark amber/brown with small tan head. Aroma is malt caramel toasted bread hop grass. Flavour is malt caramel toaster bread little sweet grass hop medium bitter.

Bouteille: Light amber coloured, clear, loose but slowly collapsing off-white head, dryish bitter-sweet aroma of malt and roasted malt with a little ashy touch and traces of dried fruits, aromatic herbal hops underneath; quite solid bitter flavour with some sweet ( malty) spots, nearly medium bodied, very soft; lingering dry and smooth herbal-hoppy finish with returning traces of roasted malt and some fruityness, hops sticking to the palate in the aftertaste. A solid brew! So solid, the even Mikkel B. can't spoil the quality...
