Pale yellow, hazy pour with a small, but stable white head. Aormas of sweet bread, wheat, dough, yeast. Taste is sweet bread, hints of banana, citrus and yeast. It is ok, but I had better AF Weizen, tbh. Thumbs up for being organic.

Würziger, moderat malziger Beginn. Geringe Süße, bockig, minimal röstig. Wenig alkoholisch, dunkles Getreide, mittellanger trockener Abgang. Okay. 9/8/9/8/6/8

0,33 l bottle. BB 31.07.2027. A darkest brown in the glass, only reddish edges with a more than in finger beige foamy head. Looks good. Smokey aroma, malt and dark choco, some coffee. Taste starts also malty with present smoke. Bacon and wood. Sweet fruity elements in the background. Milk choco, hints of licorice. More carbonation than expected.

Yes, it tastes bitter. But doesn’t resemble what I think of as a typical English bitter. Some very funky earthy flavours going on. You need to be open minded. Just hope they don’t go change the Untappd style classification!! 😔

Bottle drunk at home watching Umbrella Academy, which is decidedly quirky. The show I mean. The beer is silky dark brown with a light brown head, very smooth roasted malt and coffee nose. Relatively sweet, dark and toasty but with caramel malt taste, a bit of that freshly-brewing dark beer smell. Not too complex but very tasty and drinkable.

It's a disgrace that I forgot to check this in -- a new style for me! I must be getting old. Had it a couple weeks ago. Very enjoyable, very bitter. I'd drink it again.

Time to clear out the last of last year’s batch before the new ones come. Dark brown with sediment and a foaming, light brown head. Aroma of toffee, cola, berries, and ash. Taste is the highlight—burnt bitter with a faint, fruity sourness underneath. Medium bodied with an aggressive, fizzy carbonation that’s out of place. Flawed but not unpleasant.
