Brasserie Champigneulles
Contract Brewer
in Champigneulles,
Grand Est,
France 🇫🇷
Owned by
TCB Beverages
Established in 1897
In 1966, it merged with the Brasseries de la Meuse and the Brasserie de Charmes to create the Société européenne de brasserie (S.E.B). Within this new group, which has 23 production sites in France for a production of 6 million hectoliters, Champigneulles has long been the most important site. The brewery remained a family establishment until 1970, when the S.E.B was taken over by the BSN group. In 1986, S.E.B merged with Kronenbourg, also acquired by the BSN group.
Danone (formerly BSN) sold Brasseries Kronenbourg to the Scottish group Scottish & Newcastle in 2000. In 2006, Brasseries Kronenbourg and Scottish & Newcastle sold the Champigneulles brewery to the German group TCB.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! (produced in France). Clear golden, airy head. Fruity dusty nose. Sweet and fruity , light bodied. Sugary and cheap tasting with unpleasant dusty finish. Not anything even reotely enjoyable in here, but at leadtthe off-flavours are not overly aggressive.

Can from a shop on Turbigo in Paris. Light yellow color with a white head. Smells grainy with a hint of citrus. Rather thin bodied with frothy carbonation. Flavor is inoffensive grain with minimal hop. Does taste like beer.
