The "city beer" of Nürnberg - Rotbier! This is such an easy drinker. Lots of bready malts, pleasant fruitiness. A tad thinner than expected but very nice. Middle.

Tap at Altstadthof. Dark opaque black. Bread, earthy, ground. Full body, round, soft, even some crunch. Roasted nuts, smooth and creamy, chocolate. Like.

Tap at Altstadthof. Deep reddish chestnut, murky. Nose is sweetness caramel, melanoidin, cold butter. Cute. Taste is full body, balanced. Earthy, metallic. Smooth roasted. Nice drinkability.
