(Bottle 33 cl) Very dark with a beautiful and stable head. Lots of malty flavours, caramel, dried fruits - all the best to find in a top-Belgian. Very full-bodied with awarming alcohol. Amazing average of this beer through no less than 541 ratings.... 260993

(bottle) Murky brown colour with a foamy tanned head. Yeasty nose with dried fruits and caramel. Soft sweet flavour and a complex taste rounded up with elements of spicy liquorice, nuts and plums on a toastmalty bed with a bittersweet finish. The alcohol is good embedded.

Bottle. Aroma of fresh, citrusy mold. Quite clear chestnut colour, semi-stable, creamy, light brown head. Flavour is not very malty for a dubbel, but dry in a nice way. Turns a bit more malty in the aftertaste. Creamy mouthfeel, mild carbonation.

Hazy orange-yellow color, with small steady beige head. Aroma is yeasty, slightly citrusy-fruity with hints of spices and cardboard. Crisp carbonated mouthfeel. Very citrusy and acidy flavor. Long citrusy aftertaste with yeasty notes. This is really acidy tripel.

Hazy honey-orange color, good off-white color. Lots of floating yeast particles. Aroma starts metallic, then fruity- apricot, yeast, smoke, chestnut and anise - when it warms licorice.. Sweetish fruity: pear, typical St. Bernardus yeasty licorice flavor. Bitterish long aftertaste. Complex and rich abbey triplel.

Good beer to enjoy just the after election of new Pope :)
hazy nut brown, decent foamy off-white head. Much lighter nose than in Abt 12, licorice and anise dominates the aroma. Flavor is quite similar to Abt 12 but lacking the alcoholic burn: licore, raisins, alcohol picks up in the finish.
