Bottle at home. Pours a clear amber colour with a medium off-white head. Some malt in the aroma with cooked vegetables, some sweet malt, caramel and leather. More leather and wood in the flavour with some alcohol. Slick and light mouthfeel, and a light bitterness. Not a very exciting beer. A light and a bit strange taste and aroma.

Bottle at home. Has a clear golden straw-yellow colour with a big frothy off-white head. Aromas of pale male, hay, sweet corn, citrus and some fruits and spices. I also find much of the same stuff in the flavour with more pale malt and sweet corn. Light and slick mouthfeel. Bitterness = light+. Just another unexciting light lager with a fair hop touch.

Bottle. Pours a clear bronze colour with a medium very frothy light beige head which fades fast. Aromas of leather, wood, nuts and some dried fruits and, pineapple, a bit sweet. Much of the same stuff in the flavour but with more fruit and plums. A hint of alcohol in the end. Soft but also some sparkly mouthfeel, and a light bitterness. An okay aroma but the taste ends weird and feels unbalanced.

33cl bottle from Toscanaccio, Winchester. Reddish amber in colour and absolutely flat with no trace of head; fruity, vinous aroma, with eye-watering alcohol; somewhat better in the mouth, but rather thin, with a predominantly malty taste with a touch of fruit and soft caramel; and some strong alcohol to finish. Almost medicinal.

33cl bottle from Toscanaccio, Winchester. Copper in colour with a billowing cream head and heavy carbonation; malty aroma with some spicy yeast; vrey soft in the mouth, with a sweet malty flavour; and a dry, biscuity finish with some gentl bitterness. Pleasant, but nothing more.

33cl bottle from Toscanaccio, Winchester. Amber with a thin, scummy white head; strongly malty aroma; sweet, caramel, malt flavour and an unpleasantly oily body that masks the hops; leaving a dry, citrus finish. Certainly different, and not entirely pleasant.

33cl bottle from Toscanaccio, Winchester. A big improvement over the Premium Lager, looking and smelling better as soon as the bottle is opened. Straw with a billowing white head; the aroma is of sweet honey and cereal - Sugar Puffs is a good reference point; full and zesty in the mouth with a sharply citrus bitterness over a grassy body; and a zingy finish. Definitely stands out from the average macro-brewed Pilsner.

33cl bottle from Toscanaccio, Winchester. Straw with a fast fading, billowing, white head; that exploded on opening; corn syrup aroma; musty, corn syrup flavour; with some stale cardboard hops towards the finish. Forgetable and very disappointing.

Golden colour with a white head. Sweet malty aroma. Grassy, hay and sweet malt in the flavour. Combined with some alcohol coming through as well. Hmmm Pale ale? More a sweet blond bock beer.
