5.9.2012 Bottle. 2,1. Medium white airy head, quickly disappearing. Clear yellow colour. Generic industrial lager. Medium to fizzy carbonation, belchy. Taste is medium bitter, initially combined with some sweetness. Finish is mild bitter. Overall quite watery taste, with soapy notes. You can buy better in most supermarkets. Rerate 6.12.2018. Bottle at a tasting, beers thanks to Cuso. Slightly oxidized, feeling old, but otherwise definitely better than last time. Relatively clean, slightly fruity. Drinkable, average.

Baladine).

0,33 flaske fra Polet. En enkel og lett forglemmelig pils på 4,8%. Hvorfor denne smykker seg med to sølvmedaljer i Chicago World Beer Championships forstår ikke jeg. Ikke verdt de ekstra kronene for 0,1%.

Bottle. Aroma caramel, nuts, chocolate, rather minor hops. Taste almost medium bitter, light to meidum sweet. Initial impression is even more sweet than bitter. Golden to orange colour, medium offwhite head, very quickly disappearing. A bit metallic and watery towards the finish. Almost average.

33 cl bottle @ some sauna at Finlayson area. Rated on 21.10.2010
Aroma is stale with some alcohol and ripe fruits. Flavour is stale and syrupy with alcohol, ripe fruits and hints of grassy hops. Too stale, sweet and too much alcohol here. Not your typical English Strong.

75cl bottle from Toscanaccio, Winchester. A cloudy, pale gold, pour with a white head; yeasty aroma; soft and sweet in the mouth, watery at first, then slightly sour grains, before some malty caramels; and a thin, dry, ending. Rather disappointing.

Large bottle shared by Alexcg - Thanks! Pours hazy golden with a white head. Fruity aroma with yeast and citrus. Lightly sweet and fruity with a quite dry finish. Nice and refreshing. Good summer beer! (2012-07-27) --- Beer merged from original tick of Wit on 27 Jul 2012 at 18:29

Bottle at home. The colour is light amber with a big frothy off-white head, not far from whipped egg white. Floral aromas of hay, belgian ale fruityness, apricot and yeast. Much of the same stuff in the flavour with a bit more sweetness, some alcohol and feels pretty belgian. Soft and slick mouth feel, and light bitterness. A good ale but more belgian than british.

Yellow colour with a fine white topp. The fine white topp do sadly enough vanish quite quickly. At first it smelled a bit cabbage but then changed to a mild malty aroma. A fine mild malty flavour. Not much hopps here. But a decent and fine lager beer.

Bottle. Pours a nice red brown, with a finger thick coloured head. Aroma is nice roasted malts with notes of caramel. Full body, with medium carbonation. Sweet flavour of roasted malts, with notes of syrup, caramel, candi sugar and chocolate.
