Backlog April 2008. Deep reddish amber, close to black body under a thin beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, liquorices, coffee and smoke. Taste is surprisingly strong and rich considering the low ABV, roasted malt, coffee, hint of smoke and a fruity touch. Nice body as well with a pleasant malty aftertaste. Nice.

Backlog April 2008. Clear amber body under a small, dense beige head. A bit weak malt aroma with cooked vegetables. Taste is light malty, hint of roast, kinda sweet and a bit dull. Medium body, short aftertaste.

Backlog November 2009. Goden body with lively carbonation under a nice white head. Aroma of pale malt, herbs and a fruity touch. Taste is sweet, mild pale malt, spicy, fruity and some alcohol. All over balanced and nice.

Backlog June 2009. Pitch black body under a small brown head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, tar and alcohol. Taste has dark, roasted malt, chocolate, hint of smoke and warming alcohol. Nice and solid.

amazing aroma of raisins, plums, figs, and belgian yeast. flavor is just as complex, nice and sweet, loads of raisins, plums, candi sugar. The carbonation is a little high, and there booze comes through in the finish, but overall this is an excellent dubbel.

amazing aroma of citrus, loads of grapefruit, lemons, oranges, and citrus you can think of. THIS IS man candy, sweet citrus, and a wicked malt balance, outstanding beer!!!!!!!!!!!!

i cant say this ecited me too much. the aroma right off the bat was sour, and olive like. it looked great, but the flavour was dominated by an odd olive like flavour. the aftertaste was nice and smoky, but overall, i think i might have gotten and off bottle. cause this had an odd sour olive like flavour to it, not very nice at all.

Can at home. Aroma is basically just slightly sweetish grainy malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and barely bitter. Body is about medium. Inoffensive but devoid of character, lacking in hops.

Can at home. Aroma is sweet malt, straw, touch of caramel, bit sugary and metallic, some floral notes, soap, sweat, hint of apple juice. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is about medium. Strange beer, not to my liking, tastes like puke, worst excuse for an american pale ale I’ve ever had.
