Bottle at Deans Winter Shelter Tasting. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a bubbly white head. The aroma is creamy caramel hop. The flavour is medium bitter with a smooth malty hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with light carbonation. Ideal for a session.

Bottle @ Too many Geuze’s - only one toilet , Ulfborg 2012. One of the worst of the night. Some typical lemon, and malt aromas, overpowerd by sulphur, dust and soap. Bad !

500ml bo0ttle - part of a gift set - dark reddy brown body, thin white head. Got a nose of currants, caramel, bit toasty, quite nice. The palate is a bit thin, but has a well rounded taste, all the aroma is in the first mouthful, the finish is slightly bitter, but not unpleasant. This is the second of a trio, and neither have been that bad.

Aroma: Pear, melon, metal and grain.

Appearance:Clear golden body with a small off-white head that lasts no more than 20 seconds. Flat carbonation. No lacing.

Taste: Metallic tasting beer with faint pear notes. Not much going on here. Slightly bitter finish, but the overall taste is diluted and underwhelming.

Palate: Thin body with a watery mouthfeel. Flat carbonation.

Overall: A bland and uninspiring beer. It doesn’t look, smell or taste very appealing.
