The brewhouse consists of three kettles from 1946 and a wort filter from 2014. The kettles are made of red copper and are “hammered” by hand into the existing shapes. The capacity is 3000 kg deposit. In the past, brews of 250 to 300 hl of lager were produced with this. Today we brew 110 hl per brew since the current beers are of a much higher density.

Lys brun lett tåkete med beige skum. Lukter brød og belgisk gjær. Middels fylde. Smaker belgisk gjær, noe karamell og lett bitter sitrus. Kort.

Gran cerveza

13/V/25 - 33cl bottle, shared @ Biercentral (Gent), BB: 13/VI/26, 124076, 12:37 (2025-472)
Clear gold blond beer, huge creamy white head, very stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: very fruity, yeasty, pears, a little oxidized, ripe apples, metallic touch. MF: ok carbon, medium body, creamy texture. Taste: sweet start, lots of banana, gentle bitterness, yeasty, some bread. Aftertaste: more sweetness, grains, banana, yeasty, hay, correct but very mediocre.

750mL bottle at the International Geuze & Kriek festival. Pours murky briwn with a beige head. Stale roast and allium on the nose. Flavour is quite harsh, stale toasted rye bread, cardboard. This is not coming together for me.

750mL bottle at International Geuze & Kriek Festival 2025, pours a cloudy dark chestnut amber brown with a humungous beige head. Aroma has earthy hops, some roast, Belgian yeast, and some spiciness. Flavour has spicy, earthy yeast, medium roast, toasted caramel, and red fruits. Old but still a nice faded spicy Belgian. Solid enough.

330mL bottle at Beerlovers. Pours clear deep brown with a beige head. Estery Belgian yeast with a hint of whiskey on the nose. Flavour has light brown sugar, raisins, dark berries, and a fantastic whiskey complement. Great complexity, incorporating the whiskey has worked extremely well.
