Can to tulip.
Appearance: copper to orange color with a finger's worth of white foamy head which died off fairly nice to leave some light lace
Aroma: some muddled fruity hops then light resinous/piney hops with a clean malt base
Flavor: does a decent job of blending the prior noted aromas to a bittersweet to bitter sort of quality; finishes citrusy fruity and clean malty
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; some smoothness but also some noticeable dryness and the malt becomes slightly chewy
Overall: eh, it tries and though not a total failure, I think this one needs some light work in the texture department.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown close to black in the glass with a two finger khaki foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: black coffee roast, milk chocolate and some dark chocolate with some maple notes and an even lighter dusting of coconut
Flavor: does a nice job of blending the prior noted aromas to a sweet to roasty and semi-toasty to bready quality: finishes chocolatey, coconutty and slightly maple-y
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper; sturdy smoothness, light dryness
Overall: as much as I love maple in beers so many brewers end up putting in too much and those beers become a cloying mess so great job Evil Twin in keeping the maple level at the right amount

Bottle to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown close to black with a thin finger's worth of khaki foamy head which died off nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: dark chocolate, milk chocolate, black coffee roastiness; habanero peppers and some light sweet wafery notes far down in there
Flavor: combines the prior noted aromas to a fine spicy to sweet quality; finishes chocolatey, peppery with some light vanilla
Texture: medium bodied, surely a sipper; light smoothness but also some dryness and also some peppery heat too
Overall: if they added just a little bit more habanero peppers, I think this would have been overdone but to be honest, I think it was at the correct level; I just wish I would have gotten the cinnamon, but I believe I would have this again in hopes of finding the cinnamon next time.

Aroma: roasty black coffee, dark chocolate, sweet oats and some milk chocolate, light sweet wafery malts
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a fine roasty to sweet with a touch of bitterness underneath; finishes with the dark chocolate and black coffee roast
Texture: medium to full bodied; leaning to being a sipper; some smoothness but also some dryness along the tongue
Overall: a mostly balanced well brewed oatmeal stout I believe I could come back to.

Flavor: takes the prior noted aromas but leaves out the peanut butter tones as that becomes more like a toasty nutty vibe then combines to a mild sweet to bitter and underscored by light spices; finishes dark bready, dark chocolatey, and nice smooth coffee tones
Texture: light to medium bodied, somewhat sessionable; some smoothness with some dryness
Overall: this is way smoother than their 120 days dry aged stout. I'd come back to this one before the 120 days one.

Aroma: sweet ash, black coffee roastiness; dark chocolate, subtle milk chocolate, black licorice, light boozy notes
Flavor: makes a decent effort to blend the prior noted aromas and I think comes fairly close but some of the boozy notes seem to strike a bit more heat than I was hoping for; finishes boozy with the black coffee roasty tone, dark chocolate bitterness and black licorice
Texture: medium bodied, surely a sipper; the smoothness - well, that's somewhat there but there's an awful lot of dryness and along with the booziness, well....hmmmm....
Overall: well, there's some good things about this beer, the aromas is mostly nice, but there are some things that need to be cleaned up a bit and yes, I did have a ton of water after the consumption of this (holy dryness, Batman!)

Appearance: semi-hazy golden to copper in the glass with a two finger white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: white pepper & green pepper up front with some light citrusy hops and citrus zest, subtle sweet grass, some lemon and subtle sweet wheat
Flavor: takes the prior noted aromas and blends to a semi-spicy to peppery and controlled zest appeal with a subtle sweet vibe underneath; finishes semi-zesty, citrusy and dry
Texture: medium bodied, leaning towards being a sipper, not so much as to being a smooth beer as plenty of dryness and spicy to peppery tones seem to embrace my tongue in an expected sort of way.
Overall: I believe I liked this saison and would come back to it.

Texture: medium bodied, this is a sipper for sure; light smoothness but also some boozy heat clamping down on the tongue
Overall: this should have been aged longer by me and possibly by the brewer, but I believe I could come back to this.

Aroma: coffee roastiness, earthy hints, cocoa powder, sweet grains
Flavor: blends the prior noted aromas to a nice roasty to sweet quality; finishes dry, roasty and earthy
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; light smoothness but extremely dry along the tongue all the way through
Overall: an extremely dry stout. Good for what it is but I drank a lot of water after this beer.
