Description
In het Kempisch dorpje Ham waagde brouwer Rudy zich enkele jaren geleden aan het uittesten van een aantal recepten in een oude wasmachine. Al snel verwende hij ons rijke bierland met een nieuwe creatie ambachtelijk gebrouwen bier. Vrienden proefden dit artisanale product en beslisten om deze hobby uit te bouwen tot een heus project. Ondertussen sprongen cafés, restaurants en drankcenters op de kar waardoor het nieuwe bier, genaamd Vicus, op menige (bier)kaart belandde. De wasmachine werd intussen ingeruild voor echte brouwketels waardoor het Vicus-verhaal zich nog steeds verder blijft ontwikkelen. Laat je overtuigen door de lekkere en unieke smaak van Vicus!

Bottle shared. Clearl golden with a medium white head. Aroma of light fruits, yeast, light herbs and light citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with light carbonation.

Bottle shared. Hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma of peppery saison yeast, citrus, herbs and malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle shared with and courtesy of an on-heat platypus on an Artic Den Haag winter’s eve. Cloudy amber brown with a tan head. Aroma of herbs, chocolate, malt and caramel. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle @ home. Dark red-brown color with a medium sized off-white to beige head that lasts for quite a while. Smell and taste malts, brown malts, more bitter than I had expected, caramel. Decent body and carbonation.

Blond colour with thin head. Soft, smooth, light carbonation. Quite a malty one with no significant yeast notes.

Sampled at Zythos 2016. Thnx for sharing, everyone ! Pours dark brown, rather clear. Small white head. Smell is sweet, aromatic dark Sugar. Taste is bitter, high carbo, caramelly, dark Sugar.
