Bottle at a ChrisO tasting - London. Vintage 2010. Pours clear, very pale yellow with a faint, bubbly film. Sweet, ripe apple nose. Light to medium sweet flavor, pretty dank, lightly dry, with tart apples. Light to medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with mild dryness, some tart apples and moderate dankness. Pretty alright.

500 ml clear jug-style bottle, from Voldby Købmandsgård, Denmark. ABV is 5.0%. Dark orange coloured cider, hazy. No head nor carbonation. Strong and pleasant aroma of oxidised cider apples, also notes of oak and sulphites. The flavour is medium dry, oaky with notes of very oxidised apples. Could use som more sour apples and a "fresh" character. Dry, "dusty" and rather bland finish, with just a hint of bitter cider apples and sulphites. Would probably feel fresher if carbonated.

7.2% bag in a box from County Hotel Ashord JDW. Clear gold no head. Apple flesh aroma. Its ok. A bit of unsubtle alcohol muscle but pretty inoffensive medium sweet cider. You could get seriously damaged on this. Strong drinkable and £2.76 a pint. Top fire moose horn style beverage

Polycask @ GBBF 2012, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.Clear medium yellow colour with a small, fizzy, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy appe, tart apples, light barnyard, light wood, light vinegar. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average duration, celery notes.
