Clear bordeaux red, small pink fizzy head of low retention. Aroma: sour apple, forest berries, light farmhouse yeast. Taste: light to medium sweet, light sour, forest berry jam, apples. Not much going on at finish. Palate: medium minus body, lively carbonation. Overall: not impressive, drinkable.

500ml bottle from Ciderlicious. Sparkling, golden colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of fruity apple. Taste is sweetish fruity apple, alittle core, light funk and some acidity. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, medium-dry finish. Quite drinkable.

50cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours intense red, brilliant, with no foam. Aroma is weak fruity, not particularly interesting. Body is average, with carbonation. Taste is medium-high sweet. Final is not long but fairly sweet.

50cl bottle from Abeervinum, Rimini, Italy. Pours orange gold with no foam. Aroma is apple and strawberries. Body is average, with good carbonation. Taste is medium sweet, with a bit of acidity in the final, which is pretty short and clean.

From at hot vat at the Greyhound, Tidmarsh, 28/12/19. Golden with little in the way of a head. Nose is stewed apples, cinnamon, toasted brown sugar, candied fruit peel. Taste comprises apple pie, clove, brown sugar sprinkle, Cinnabuns, sweet edge, spice, stewed apples. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, warming (in the heat sense!) close. Ok winter warming affair.

On tap at The Stable, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma brings out medium sweetness, red apples, and a bit of rustic notes. Flavour is loaded with lots of red apples, medium sweetness, and a touch of wild character. Good red apple character, with solid depth. Very good.
