33cl Fles bij Victorie. Troebel diepgouden kleur, witte kraag. Zoet, fruitig, iets moutig, licht bloemig, honing, behoorlijk bitter, wat gist. Niet heel clean voor een blondje. Lichte body. Drinkbaar.

Bottle from Bierwinkel Alkmaar. Pours orangeish golden with a white head. Nose is weird, slightly funky, estery, fruity but definitely the contaminated kind. Taste is similar, funky, a bit sourish even. Joke’s on me i guess for thinking anything decent would come out of this. Well, it didn’t.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is herbal hops, biscuity malt, caramel, herbal tea, mild tropical fruits with grapefruit, touch of pine resin. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Fairly malty and herbal IPA with some tropical fruity notes. Not bad.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is bready malt, caramel, herbal hops, ripe fruits, with a touch of sweet apricot and a mild floral note. Flavour is above moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Body is medium. On the malty side and a bit hoppy, bittersweet. Decent stuff.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is dark malt, roast, fruity hops, tropical fruits, chocolate, coffee, citrus and grapefruit with a mild touch of pine. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and above medium bitter. Body is medium. Surprisingly good hoppy Stout or Black IPA, good balance between roasty chocolate malts and tropical fruity hops.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is roasted malt, cocoa, dark chocolate, coffee, touch of smoke, ash, some fruity hoppy notes, lactose and liquorice. Don’t get much vanilla. Flavour is medium sweet and sweet. Body is medium. Should have been a bit fuller, what it lacks in vanilla it makes up for in the varied aroma, some nice smoke roast and coffee notes.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is creamy rye malt, caramel, herbal hops, strawberries (!), biscuit, notes of red berries with some subtle pine needles in the finish. Flavour is light to moderate sweet with an above medium bitter finish. Body is medium with some creaminess. I expected some gimmicky pine needle beer, but this is much better.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is sweetish malt, smoked bacon, ash, charred wood, caramel, with some mild but surprising fruity notes and some chocolate. Flavour is medium sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium bodied, soft and smooth. Wonderful Smoked, lovely balance.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is floral with malt, some caramel, lightly fruity hops, touch of berries including some strawberry, grassy notes and slightly herbal. Flavour is moderate sweet and moderate to medium bitter. Body is medium. Not a bad hoppy Belgian Ale with some typical understated Hüll Melon notes.

Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Dark malty aroma with caramel, soft wood, distinct dried fruits with raisins, notes of dark chocolate and a touch of liquorice. Not very smokey. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Enjoyable Bock with wood, dark chocolate and dried fruits.
