Pours a dark brown body and a beige head that quickly recedes. Aroma's: boozy, bourbon, sweet, raisins. Retronasal it's boozy, sweet, sticky toffee, raisin. Flavour is moderate sweet with light bitterness and light alcoholic sourness. Sharp alcohol feel. Medium bodied. Long finish. Stilp rough, but they're getting slightly better at barrel aging.

Pours a cloudy yellow body and a soapy white head that quickly disappears. Strong aroma's of citrus, grapefruit indeed, pineapple.Retronasal it's hopbitter and big citrus. Flavour is above moderate bitter and very citrussy. Medium bodied. Firm carbonation. Long fiinish, full on bitter and still citrussy. I already drew the conclusion before: IPA and grapefruit, a lovely combination!

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 15 Feb 2024) Murky brownish colour, looks like a café latte. Fruity, hoppy nose with grapefruit, crisp-bread, resin and a touch of mint. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of rye bread, citrus, grapefruit, resin and a generous citric/resiny bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Sure looks like an averij, but taste is far better. Rich and hoppy. Nice one.

Bottle. Slightly hazy light golden. Very herbal ip front, typical Nevel yeast, oak, mint, spruce but mostly whatever it is they put in here as wild herb. Under medium sweet and sour with a creamy body. Pretty nice.

Pours an almost black body and a small brown head that almost completely disappears after a minute. Aroma's: boozy, hard roasted malts, umami, coffee. Retronasal there's alcohol, roast, dark chocolate, a bit coffee grind. Flavour is moderate sweet with firm roast and light alcohol sourness. Warming alcohol. Full bodied. Soft carbonation. Long finish with dark chocolate, roasted, light moderate bitter. Not fantastic, but the best of the series so far.

Pours a murky (I think) black colour and a firm light brown head with good retention. Aroma's of firmly roasted malts, coffee grind, just a hint of peanut from the glass. Retronasal there is coffee grind and a bit of peanuts, which is kind of a weird combination. Flavour is (above) moderate sweet, dark chocolate, some roasty bitterness and a hint of sour (either from the alcohol or carbanation. Full bodied. Creamy mouthfeel, prickly carbonation. Long finish with lots of roast, fairly bitter. A bit messy, but luckily it's not sickly sweet.
