On Tap @ Eetcafé De Poort, Utrecht. Hazy yellow with a white head. Nice tropical fruit and citrus aroma. Sweet taste with a medium bitter finish. Creamy mouthfeel. Great, not overly sweet, NEIPA.

Pours a light hazy pale yellow body and a dense white head that leaves a small layer. Aroma's : grain wort, citrus. Retronasal: light malty sweet and very light citrus. Flavour is light sweet and refreshingly citrussy. Light bodied. Solid carbonation. Quite pleasant, especially with warm weather.

Pours a murky amber body and a small off white head with a little retention. Aroma's: fruity, resin, with some sweetness and bitterness retronasal. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied. There is some sharpness, either from the alcohol or hopburn. Finishes with some caramel and moderate bitter.

Pours a black body and a small brown head that doesn't last very long. Aroma's: from a distance I do smell rum, close up it's more boozy, spiritus almost, with additional roast and umami. Retronasal: too alcoholic, spiritus, overpowering most other aroma's, a bit sweet and fruity. Flavour is above moderate sweet, fruity alcohol, light roasted. Alcohol feel is OK, not too hot or sharp. Medium bodied. Good carbonation. Finishes with dark chocolate, roasty, light bitter. Not great, the base beer was much better.

(Draught at Gollem Craft Beers, Amsterdam, 17 Feb 2024) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, dark chocolate and a touch of tar. Malty, roasted taste with notes of chocolate, coffee, peanut butter, caramel and a balanced coffee bitterness. Full body, quite sweet. Om the sweet side, but tasty and more balanced than expected. Very nice.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 18A). Can 33 cl - Batch 23313 05L23 (BB: 05/06/2025) AROMA: medium sweet worty aroma mixed with medium-low hops (pine, citrus, slight herbaceous) APPEARANCE: light straw yellow color and clear. medium-low white head with good retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with initial medium worty flavor, medium-low sweet, but neutral. medium-low to low pine, citrus and herbaceous hop flavor. medium bitterness offsetting a bit the sweetness. the finish evolves from somewhat sweet to semi-dry, hoppy and bitter. MOUTHFEEL: medium body with medium carbonation. OVERALL: a low alcohol hoppy blond that somewhat manages to hide the worty-like character. not that bad for a low abv beer.
