Thuis uit een flesje. Donkerbruin, bijna zwart. Beige schuim. Aroma geroosterde koffie. Ook in smaak. Halfzoet, redelijke bitterheid. Prima bokje.

In de tuin uit een flesje. Eerste bier uit Heiloo. Licht troebel gouden kleur, veel wit schuim. Redelijk blond bier, stevig wel in de smaak, haalt het hoge abv er wel uit.

Fles 33cl in Den Burg. Caramel, zoet, flink koolzuur, drop, licht roasted malts, wat donker fruit. (1-9-2020).

Bottle. Color: Very dark copper, stable and dense beige head. Aroma: Caramel, malt, smoke, dark dried fruit. Taste: Smoked malt, notes of bacon, smooth mouthfeel, malty, notes of oak wood, brown sugar, herbs like coriander. Hints of dried dark fruit, white wine, booze, chocolate. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Moderate to medium sweet, and bitter. Bittery palate at finish. Medium to over medium body, below average carbonation. Nice complexity, a lot of flavours to explore and well balanced. Very good.

Bottle shared. Very hazy brown with a small tan head. Aroma of overripe dark fruit, licorice, herbs and old dishwashing liquid. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.
