Tap at Beergeek, Freigeist tape over.Very dark ruby color with medium pinkish head. Aroma of red and black currant. Currants are overlapping malt in taste, very light hoppy bitterness is traceable. Long fruity finish. Tasty.

Tap at Beergeek Bar Freigeist tap takeover. Kind of blackberry aroma but the flavour turns it around. Assertively tart, lightly sour, dark berries, slight chocolate and faintest roast. Interesting fruity exbeeriment. Quite good.

330ml bottle. Clear chestnut colour with ruby glimmer and average, thick, creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, beige head. Roasty, slightly chocolately, dark malty aroma, notes of cocoa, a touch of liquorice. Taste is roasty dark malty, slightly chocolately, notes of cocoa powder, a touch of liquorice. Slightly watery, a bit monotonous.

Gourmet-Flasche: Deep ruby-amber coloured, presumably hazy, small - but stable - off-white foamy layer; dry roasty-ashy nose, caramelly and fruity traces incorporated; moderate bitter-sweet flavour plus a slight acidity, only light bodied; slightly lingering dryish ashy and fruity finish. O.K., but a bit thin…

Tower 42 Tasting. Thanks to Paul. Hazy dark gold beer, no real head. Palate is light and has a mild fine crispness. Mild malts and modest sourness. Tangy dried fruits. Light finish. A curiosity but not in a good way, pretty meh!

Draught at CBF Wien.
Golden-amber, hazy body, with a small, creamy, off-white head.
Aroma of peaty smoke, spices, funk, sweet fruits, some caramel.
Taste follows this, with some more grains.
Medium, a bit creamy mouthfeel, with a lively carbonation.
Finishes spicy, smokey, sweet, a bit fruity.

Good, but not exactly my cup of tea. Quite strange mix and not that balanced in my opinion. Still interesting stuff, but nothing I would try again.
