Description
Gosnells was founded by Tom Gosnell in 2014 after he was inspired to turn his hand to experimenting with mead during a trip to the USA. As an avid home brewer of cider and perry, Tom had brewing experience that he quickly applied to developing our signature style of light, crisp, sparkling mead. From those early days our team and brewery has grown, but our aim remains the same: to re-popularise mead and bring it back to the people.

500ml bottle from Gosnells. Pours a hazy pale yellow colour with a white foamy head that dissipates away and aroma of honey, straw, floral, grassy, earthy. Taste is sweet, honey, straw, meadow hay, grassy, some slight citric tartness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, medium-sweet with honey & hay at the finish. Quite drinkable.

Not overly sweet, a little lacking on any honey flavor. A bit floral, getting a lot of elderflower in particular.

Tap at the bermondaey joint. A clear petrol coloured pour with no head. Aroma is subdued waxy , oily, earthy, banan chews. Flavour is composed of mineral, parafine, wax, mineral water, light earthy. Nothing to it, sake vibes. Not good at all. Palate is semi crisp, mineral, dry carbonic. Shite.
