Clear, sight chill haze, frothy copper into a clear Solo cup at a company event. Herbal with a slight sulfur pretzel nose. Bittersweet, herbal, honey, bite-y pine tail. Thin, fizzy, medium abv feels. A bit heavy for a quaff but free is free.

Can at Beermalade tasting. Med-thin body, light carbonation. Medium alcoholic warmth, pleasantly rounded though. Medium bitterness, medium warmth. The special flavours are kinda lost to me, it feels mostly like barley wine, but a very good one, easy sipping. Light brandy, hint of wood. Hints of citrus. It really starts to come into its own as it really warms.

Can at Beermalade tasting. Thin body, high carbonation. Medium sourness, light tartness. Assertive rhubarb and strawberry, little else going on. Easy drinking, good, even if not very beery.
