Malvern Hills Brewery, also known as MHB, was established in an old quarryman’s gunpowder store back in September 1998. Talk about explosive beers!

At over 600 feet above sea level, Malvern Hills Brewery is perched high on the northern slopes of the blissful Malvern Hills in Worcestershire county.

Fruity and malty with some nice pleasing exotic tropical fruity hits, sweet malty backing, piney bitter hoppy close.

Cask @ Hop and Scotch, Kings Heath before watching Part Chimp. Expected a fruitier hop profile, given the tropical fruit on the pumpclip, but there are mild glimpses producing a sippable cask pale overall..

Cask at Weavers, Great Malvern, 07/09/22. Clear golden blonde with a just off white head that retains well, full glass lacing ensues. Nose is soft malts, lemon rind, herb, grains, straw. Taste comprises grass, light hedgerow, stewed fruits, lemon rind, crackers. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close. Ok cask golde.

Cask at the Fleece Inn, Bretforton, 08/09/22. Clear golden to light copper with a just off white head that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is stewed fruits, grains, biscuit, brown bread. Taste comprises fruit esters, straw, hedgerow, dark malts, hint of caramel, stewed fruits. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close with a mellow bitter edge. Decent bitter.

Cask at GBBF '22 day 2, 03/08/22. Pale golden yellow with a white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is tangerine, grass, soft malts, light floral tones. Taste comprises melon, citric tinged straw, orange peel, airy malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with mellow hop bitterness. Fine.
