Super clear and very crisp golden coloured body wtih a very nice three centimetre tall perfectly microfoamed off-white head that's above a very effervescent bubbly body. Aroma of biscuits, light yeast and bread, some lemons, stone fruits and a bit of floral notes, too. Light-bodied; Fairly sweet, candy-like fruity flavour up front with some caster sugar as well and a big hit of lemons and kumquaty/tangeriney notes, that end with a slight mineraly and rustic malt flavour that adds tot he bitterness, and takes away from the relative easy-drinking nature. Aftertaste is fairly deep, with a lot of biscuity and sort of grainy malts, some softer lemons and stone fruit notes and a funkiness from some aspartame/saccharin and fake sugar notes. Overall, the hops do hit, especially up front, but this really is about the minerealy and more pungent malts and citrus fruits than the hops. Good to try, but not as good as I was hoping for. Dark brown. Thick head. Vanilla chocolate aroma comes across a bit artificial. Rich, medium body but lots of sugars. The vanilla is definitely blending in with the chocolate here for an interesting character. Not actually getting much orange, but I'm okay with that.

Lemon gold color pour. Orange zest and tropical fruit flavor. Heavy carbonated and medium bodied.

Noticeable DMS, moss, lemongrass. Cloudy pale orange, medium billowy head. Guava, DMS, orange peel. Full body, easy carbonation, warm, somewhat resinous.

Dark brown, no head. Soft body, quite honeyish, touch of burnt sugars, a bit of alcohol. There's a deep fruitiness, which is not bad. The mead barrel lends an interesting character to this.

16oz @ Phill's. Appearance: dark brown with a beige head. Aroma: sweet, some roasted malts and dark fruits, quite thick. Taste: kinda a weird mix of roasted imperial stout and mead. Overall: this mix doesn't work well definitely. It's harsh, abrasive, and unbalanced.

Poured from 473mL can. Dark brown with small beige head. Boozy below average mead character, dried fruit, lacks complexity, thin. Underwhelming.

16 oz. can, pours a deep dark brown / near-black with a small tan head. Aroma is quite boozy, with dark dried fruits, harsh mead notes, and some dark sugars — lacking cohesion. Flavour is very harsh and lacking sophistication, with dark dried fruits, booze, and harsh mead notes. Man, this is messy as hell. None of the elements are particularly pleasant and they work even less well together. Haphazard beer.
