Description
We started a Brewery as a means to contribute to a truly artisan craft. We believe in friendship before finance and are happy to help others in this industry as we have been helped by those who came before us. We are bold believers in the fact that a well made beer can cool your spirit and warm your soul.
Our flagship Mason Ale Works production brewery opened in 2017 at our San Marcos Urge Common House Location. Here JJ “Sweet Meat” Jimenez, our Director of Brewing Operations, helms the wheel. All of our can releases like our popular Jambi West Coast IPA and Respeto Mexican Lager are brewed and canned in these four walls. We also crank out an extensive line-up of one-off releases out of here.

From a can. Odd aroma and flavor. Pineapple follows through with grass. Heavy wet grass comes out in the flavor. Effervescence lingers for a bit in the mouthfeel.

Juicy notes of citrus fruit in play, prominent orange, touch of grapefruit and a splash of lemon, some pithy orange and touch of bitter citrus peel, medium body, fruity hoppy finish. Not bad.

Can from Beer Republic. Big coffee aroma with roasted malt, espresso, dark chocolate, beany coffee, some mocha and light fruity hints, and a little liquorice. Flavour is firm roasty bitterness and mild sweetness. Body is above medium. Doesn't have a lot of depth but the coffee onslaught is appreciated, flavour is on the roasty bitter side. Good!
