On cask at Sheaf View, Heeley - Deep ruby black body, thick off white lacing head. Nose is heavy in the choccy department, some coffee hints, and a bit of roast nuts too. Taste is helped by a smooth mouthfeel, a bit of lactose creaminess, again the chocolate dominates.
Retried in 2025, can from Mitchell Wines Meadowhead.

On cask at Sheaf View, Heeley - Pale hazy gold coloured body, thin white head. Gentle citrus hoppy nose, traces of a grassy, hay, floral fragrance. Taste is a slightly astringent orange background, small bitter finish.

Huddersfield Beer Festival 2016, Huddersfield. Stout with full notes lost due to catastrophic failure of the Ratebeer App wiping this and many other reviews around this time.

On cask at Coach and Horses, Dronfield - Hazy golden orange body with a small white head. The nose is juicy orange, tangerine, pineapple, bitter marmalade, and light herbal notes. The taste is orange, tangerine, passion fruit, bitter pine and light resin with a dry, citric finish. Very nice really.
