Clear golden pour with no head for which I blame the pour rather than the beer. Malt, bread, some oranges and herbs. OK overall.

[Cask at the Back of Beyond (JDW), Reading.] A pale golden amber coloured pour with a close textured white head; orangey aroma; immediate bitter citrus taste, mainly orange, with a dry biscuity malt body; then some warming spice and tropical fruit in the finish. A satisfying pint.

Hand pulled third of a pint in my local Spoons on 9th October 2025. First of 7 festival beers tried on the night. Clean and clear light golden body, white crust. Tropical fruit nose and taste, aroma subtle the flavours just above that, it's fine and a decent start to the evening.

Wetherspoon 2025 Autumn Beer Festival. Ale#7 of 26 untried possibilities at the fest. Clear golden with a glow, and a decent head. Sweet tropical fruits in both aroma and taste, married to a hoppy cask brew. It's session material just.
