Draft sample @ Barcelona Beer Festival ’25.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 21A). Can 44 cl - Batch 4042 (BB: 10/24). AROMA: medium hop aroma with herbaceous and slight lime and melon notes. medium-low malty-sweet background with neutral and slight nutty notes and some neutral alcohol. slight isovaleric. APPEARANCE: light orange to yellow color and slightly hazy. medium-low ivory head with style average retention. leg formation. TASTE: initial medium-high hop flavor with herbaceous and slight lime notes. meidum-low neutral malt background with slight sweetness. high bitterness with a dry and deeply bitter finish. MOUHFEEL: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. slight alcoholic warmth and slight asrtingency. OVERALL: an ok IPA with balance towards bitterness in the mouth. it would benefit with less bitterness since there isnt that much malt to support it.

44 cl can at my friend Paula's (thanks.) A hazy pale golden pour with a short-lived, off-white head. Aroma is peach, white flowers, grass, dry lemon. Dry, slick, medium-bodied, rather bitter but just medium-lingering. Refreshing and nice, but on the average side. Nice art, though. Reminds me of the Speedy Snail from Neverending Story.

330ml. can. @Olallas, Compostela. 18/10/2023 [#6.995 Global - #1.394 Spain - #3 Rec Brew] Strange brewing. Full of acidity and oxidized hops. Probably a bad batch. Next one please!
