Another beer I’m surprised I haven’t rated before – but then again maybe not because I’m not that keen on purity beers. Anyway, cask at Moon under Water, Wolverhampton. Pours golden yellow with a small foamy off-white head. Not much of an aroma – just hints of floral hops and marmalade. In the mouth it is juicy and slightly bitter with floral hops and hints of citrus. Later some herbal hints too,. Bitterness lasts into the slightly dry finish. It’s reasonable – but not particularly memorable.

Bottle from Eltham Sainsburys. Clear gold pour with a white head. Grapefruit, bitter lemon & lime aromas. Crisp bitter citrus taste. Hoppy fruity action. Not too bad for a cheapo supermarket brew.
