We’ve been brewing great beer in Derby since 2010, the team are all passionate about ale and work their socks off to make sure that every pint we make is consistent and delicious.

Pours an almost black colour with a small loose beige head. Aroma is chocolate and oatmeal with some coffee notes. Roasted malt taste with coffee and chocolate flavours. Dry in the mouth finish.

From cask. Pours black, dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted, dark malty and breadish. Dark roasted. Dry and dark malty. Bitter and roasted malty finish. Dry and bitter finish.

On cask at the Pheasant bin Wellington. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head and a slight haze. Nose - grapefruit and yeast. Taste - more of the same. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry bitter finish. Overall - good but a bit on the too bitter side.

Cask (gravity) @ Nottingham Robin Hood Beer Festival (2014), Nottingham Castle, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EL. [ As Dancing Duck Indian Porter ].Clear dark red brown color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141008]

500ml bottle from Real ale store, Newark. Pale slightly hazy gold colour with a thin white head. Aroma is pine, and taste is fruity and resin. Nice pale.

500ml bottle. Pours very dark brown with a small head. Aroma is yeasty coffee and blackcurrant. Taste is dry roast and blackcurrant. Some coffee on the finish.

500ml bottle. Pours very light gold with a small head. Aroma is soapy lemon and a little tropical fruit. Taste is sweet tropical fruit with a strong bitter finish. Oily mouthfeel.
