Deep chestnut brown with a frothy / creamy off-white head and a soft malt loaf aroma. Smooth and creamy, sweet bready malt with delicate floral hops, a touch of bitterness and a dry finish.

Handpull cask at Byron's Rest, Hucknall. Light gold, clear with a small white head and good lacing.light fruity aroma, a little bit of orchard fruit. Taste is bittersweet, very basically noncommittal. More orchard fruit and a little citrus. Light body with soft carbonation. Just can't really get into this but it is fine.

Bottle from Co-Op. Clear copper brown with small white top. Aroma is malty with notes of caramel and toasted nuts but there is berry and stone fruit note also. Taste of toasted cereals , grapefruit rind, grass and a hint of earthy resin. Light to medium bodied, well carbonated and semi-dry. Good bitter.

Bottle from Co-op. Pours a clear gold with small white head Aroma is quite hoppy, very floral with hints of citrus zest and pepper. Very good. Taste has a biscuit malt and the hoppy floral-fruit notes are there but a little more muted than I was hoping. Its ok though. Light bodied but relatively smooth considering. Carbonation a little low for the strength. A bit mixed but very drinkable.

Cask at Nags Head, Mickleover. Pours golden amber with a small scummy off-white head and good lacing. Fruity hops to the fore in the aroma plus some hints of mango. In the mouth it is decidedly sweet but with a touch of bitterness lurking underneath. Traditional hops and passion fruit in the flavour – but later on malts and biscuits become evident plus some hints of tropical fruits. Finish is slightly dry with bitterness more evident. This is quite decent and eminently swiggable.
