Bottle from Liquid Treasures, Belper, Derbyshire purchased and consumed the same day at dad’s, Kilburn, Derbyshire, Friday, 19th February 2016 Pours dark, dark brown, edging towards black. Dark roasty malts, liquorice, some toffee but mostly liquorice. It’s ok not totally my thing though. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Bottle from Liquid Treasures, Belper, Derbyshire, Friday, 19th February 2016 had this at dad’s same day. Pours copper in colour with a sticky white head on top. Traditional in style with an earthy feel, a little orangeyness, carbonation is a bit too brisk, it’s a bit safe but it’s fine enough. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.2

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, London, 27 Nov 2015) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with bread, orange and grass. Malty, fruity taste with notes of apricots, toast, citrus, grass and a balanced floral bitterness. Light body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh and tasty. Quite nice.

Cask, half pint at Craft Beer Co St. Mary Axe. Shared with Finn. Fair lacing from a minimal head. Clear amber coloured body. Smell of almond and caramel. Malt-fruity taste of lemony hops and brown malts, lightly spiced. Prolonged ending. Medium bodied. Just alright (London 30.11.2015).

Half pint, cask shared with Finn at Oscars Bar in Hull. Misty pale golden body. Faint white head blanketing the glass. Ripe citrus nose. Lemony hoppy flavours added by a basement touch. Mild fruity bitterness to the ending. Soft mouth feel. Standard (26.11.2015).

Fra cask på Craft St Marys Axe 30 Nov 15. Delt med Rune. Gyldenbrun. Lavt skum som etterlater teppelacing. Svakt metallisk fruktaroma. Smaken lett søt frukt. Banan. Pærer. Balansert. Avslutter tørt fruktig & lettere syrlig.

Cask@CBC St Marys Axe, City, London - amber pour with off white to beige head. Aroma and taste is fruity and malty, some caramel toffee biscuity malts, toasty, hoppy sweet finish.
