Cask at The Bell, waltham St Lawrence. Pale gold with a ring of white head; grainy aroma; quite full bodied and grainy with some apple and spice; the a touch of tart grapefruit with some lemon sherbert to finish. Satisying, yes, memorable, no.

Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, fruity, moderate hoppy, citrus, orange - citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration. Aroma is moderate malty, chocolate, sweet chocolate, light vanilla. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, chocolate, roasted, ash. (cask@Ravensbourne Arms, SE London) Pours a nice gold with a good off white head and good lacing. Aromas are malt biscuit caramel and citrus. Taste pleasant but not overpowering hop character (citrus lemon/orange in there) mix with biscuit malt. My first Dancing Duck offering and a good first impression.

Cask at WJ Kavanugh’s, Dublin. Hazy amber. Caramelly nose with some citrus. Light-medium bodied with rounded mouthfeel. I get more caramel, than hops and it turns somewhat sticky. Low bitterness.

500ml Bottle - Golden with a small white head. Tea, lemon and grapefruit in the aroma. Hoppy, yet nicely balanced taste with notes of grapefruit, tea and biscuity malt all being detected.

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is citrus, fruits and mild malty and tropical fruit juice as well. Flavour is fruity, caramelly, rather hoppy bitter with some sweet malts.

Cask@Reading Beer Festival 2012. Quite much pitch black colour with a small beige head. Aroma is chocolate, caramel, mild liquorice and roast with some slight toffee as well. Flavour is rather similar in a very pleasant balance. Rather bodied for being only 4.5 %.
