Cask at Cloisters. Pours pale golden, nose is light toffee, taste is sweet toffee, floral, bitter.

Cask at the Gunmakers, 19/08/14. Clear golden with a decent off white covering that dissipates then lingers. Nose is pale malts, straw, citric peel, light orange sherbet. Taste comprises melon, straw, bread dough, orange notes, citric peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterings. Ok GB.

Cask at Roscoe Head, Liverpool. Straw, a very slight natural head. Tart grapefruit/lemon aroma. A bit of lagery grain but the citrus hop dominates. Surprisingly bitter/sour taste, mouth-puckering long sour-bitter finish, like sour lemon drops. A decent if ’safe’ golden beer.

Cask (Lady Grey’s, Newcastle) - Golden with a white head. Grapefruit, peach and melon in the aroma. Crisp, refreshing and hoppy taste with lemon, elderflower and grapefruit standing out.

Cask (Redhouse, Newcastle) - Amber in colour. Sultanas, syrup and some earthy hops in the aroma. Moderately hoppy taste with notes of dried apricot, toffee and lime detected.

Light bronze, delicately spicy, sweet slight caramel malts, soft hops...good balance, very refreshing.

MOSI Beer Festival. Golden with a small head and a rustic metallic aroma. It has some fruit in its taste but an overriding bitterness.

Cask handpull at White Horse Winter Best of British Beer Festival, Chelmsford. Straw colour, light head, subtle vanilla aroma. Creamy, medium body with minimal carbonation. Quite nice this, went down well.

Cask handpull at Old Thameside. clear pale gold colour lasting white head. Its an ok blobde ale. some citrus some soft hop. slightly lemony. its ok but ibstantly forgettable. like a hundred others quite bitter on finish mind.

Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 06/09/09. Golden in colour with a decent white head. A hoppy session bitter with a touch of sweet malts and decent, bitter finish. Good.
