Draught at KØ14 as Kongebryg with cherry, vanilla and oak. Weak vanilla aroma. Black colour. Small stable light brown head. The flavour has a good vanilla note. Sweet and vinous. I do not taste much cherry, though. 7 3 7 3 16 Bottle, 7.6%. Best before 2016, 3½ years ago. Mild coffee aroma, clean and pleasant. Almost black colour. Seems clear. Good stable light brown head. The flavour has a mild chocolate note and a little earth, probably due to its age. Other than the earth, it is still a good beer. 7 3 7 3 15

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, reddish dark brown with no head whatsoever - completely flat. Sweet boozy aroma, lots of overripe dark fruits. Body is only medium, more overripe fruits and toffee than roast, vague honey notes with a very boozy finish. If you think of it as a desert wine or an old style British Barley Wine, then you’re expetations is more in sync with what this beer delivers. Not sure I understand the hate. 060417

Bottleed 33 cl. Now named "Ræve Rød Pilsner". Pours a clear reddish caramel color with an off-white head. Nose is a little greasy with "smelly feet". Medium body, lightly caramellish, some toffee and a discreet bitterness. Flavor way more pleasant than the aroma. 050417

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear amber with an off-white head. Nose has some caramel and spice, a light note of licorice. Medium body, very low in carbonation, some yeasty notes, spice and caramel with a slightly hoppy finish. Some late phenols are a little disturbing. But not too bad. 270217

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear black with a warm burgundy tint, so not thick or opaque, with a beige head. Discreet roast in the nose. Body is medium or rather thin for an Imperial Stout, sweet licorice. Again lowish carbonation. But very soft and smooth on your pallet and very easy drinking. But a bit lightweight for anything Imperial. 170217

Bottle 50 cl. Clear, deep golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, clean malt, a little bready with some flowery hops. Solid body, rather low in carbonation, again just sweet, clean malts with a little late bittering hops. A very sweet Bock that would’ve been fresher and crispier with more hops and a higher degree of attenuation. But if you like a sweet and strong brew that’s not overly hoppy, then this is it. 170217

Bottle 5o cl. Pours yellow with a slight haze and a small, white head. Malty nose. Medium body, sweet malts, there’s a tang of something I cannot really describe, but it becomes less annoying as it warms up. Rather low bitterness. Decently drinkable. 060217
