Stone Cold! What?!? 22 oz bottle, poured, purchased in San Francisco. What?! Tow Beers! Three beers! I love that so many heroes, and bands and such from my childhood are coming out with beers these days. Its a great way to drink a solid brew, and at the same time reflect and remember the good days. Of course, the past is just the future with the lights turned on. A light golden pour with minimal fizz head. Piney hop impressions all around. What!?! Some juicy fruit to complete. Overall, a standard IPA all around for me, but the experience around it was fantastic. That makes for a damn good beer. I’d drink this a ton if I had access to some cans.

Bomber from Cap Tap. Pours golden orange with a huge white head. Aroma suggests dank pine. Near full bodied. Flavor is dank herb more than pine, but I definitely call dank. Yet it’s very fruity in a rather different to me way. The finish is sort of like used tea leaves. This is strongly hopped and the result is complex to me. It’s dry and bitter. Delicious? I am certainly pleased to be drinking it, but it’s too new for me to jump off the pier on delicious. Liking it a lot.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours bright gold with a large white head. Aroma is fruit with an earthy tang. Med minus body. Flavor is fruit - even a light kiwi note / very light malt. It’s towards dry; hoppy but hardly bitter. Quite pleasant.

Bomber from Bine & Vine. Pours bright gold with a white head that diminished rather quickly. Aroma: Dank; cat pee/citrus; resin; grape; tropical hint. Lot going on there. Med body or so. Flavor is dank; cat pee/citrus; resin; earth finally. It is towards dry, and it’s nicely bitter. One of the best I’ve had lately.

A hazed orange amber ale in thin off white head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light resinous floral hops, light catty notes, nice and smooth. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light tropical fruits, resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, nice and smooth, alcohol warmth. Cask Days 2016.

Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours gold with a white head. Citrus fumes erupt from the glass. Med body at least. Flavor seems quite pine. Or call it citrus too. It is sort of one note, but it is one heck of a note. Lots and lots of "fresh" hop, and a good dose of rather smooth bitter. Must be malt here in support, but it’s really taking the back seat. Great ale here.

Nitro at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours copperish with a beige head. Aroma of light stone fruits and caramel. Med body or so. Flavor is caramel and some florality with light stone fruit. Not bitter by NW standards - but fits the style. In an English mood in works very well. Bitter builds with time. Nice.

Bomber from ABV. Pours a crystal clear dark amber color with a medium white head. A big floral and resin hop nose. Big sticky resin, oily hops, bitterness, caramel, tropical fruit. Certainly a big IPA. Quite tasty. Sort of a throwback considering how things are going, but this is good.
